  • The main aim of "Sevai Maiyam" is that the children of the 2 dalit colonies must be given a minimum Graduation Degree as basic education completely free of cost.Sevai Maiyam serves to give basic necessities for the children of these two colonies,in-order to improve their standard living. This trust volunteers many services,by adopting the 2 Dalit colonies.In-order to up-lift the standard of living of poverty stricken and backward people,it offers all the basic necessities for them.Hence there is a certain amount of change in the people living over there.the future of the children living here is optimized to be bright.


  • Sanitation: In order to maintain proper sanitation for the children washing soap to wash their clothes,bathing soap,shikakai powder,tooth powder,and coconut oil is being provide.monthly once a haircut is done for the boys. A separate saloon is constructed for this purpose at Gandhi nagar.


 

  • Fees & uniforms : The necessities for the children such as school fess,and school books are provided by freely sevai maiyam every year.further, all the children are given uniforms twice a year.

  • Festivities : During the diwali festival the children are given sweets and crackers.new clothes are given thrice a year during festivities..

  • Medical Services: :

    A public hospital inside the sevai maiyam with all facilities serves to the need of the dalit children of Gandhi nagar and rajiv nagar. It functions daily in the evenings with the help of Dr.P.Gurumurthi B.Sc.MD.,(General Physician) and a Nurse.A Child Specialist (Pediatrician ) visits regularly to check the health of the children.

    Eye Camps are conducted for the dalit children.

    All the children are given individual medical identity cards.all the services rendered at sevai maiyam are completely free of cost.

  • Financial Aid : Poor children living in nearby villages other than the 2 dalit colonies are given complete financial aid for their education.22 students have benefited and are placed in reputed firms and organizations.

  • Services to the Aged : All necessities are provided for persons aged above the age of 60 in both the genders who are unable to work and earn their living.particularly,the aged are given nutritious food daily along with tea.clothes are given to them 3 times a year.

    As offered to the children the aged are also given soap,tooth powder and oil every month.

    During the diwali festival the aged are given new dresses and sweets are distributed

    Other than this , a pocket money of rs.50/- per month is being given for the aged.

    Eye camps are conducted and surgeries are performed for those who need it and spectacles also are also being provided.


  • Marriage Aid : During the marriage of the residents of Gandhi nagar and rajiv nagar colonies the marriage couple is given a silk saree,silk dhoti and a towel along with a mangal sutra ornament made of ΒΌ sovereign amounting to a total cost of rs.3000/-(Rupees Three Thousand).

  • Last Rituals : In the same manner when a resident expires, a vehicle is provided to carry the body for cremation and a wholesome amount of rs.1000/- is given to the family for performing the last rituals of the deceased.

  • Office and infrastructure : The trust has a modern kitchen with a beautiful and clean dining hall,a private hospital,a spiritual centre for children to do meditation and yoga , a coaching centre and all buildings are constructed with modern facilities and well maintained.
